FORT LAUDERDALE – A Broward County woman alleges that she was injured at a Fort Lauderdale property when she fell because of the conditions of a walkway.

Linda Fisher filed a complaint on May 12 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Accesso Partners LLC and Brookwood Plaza 100 LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 2, 2015, she slipped and fell as she was walking down the marked pedestrian pathway of the parking garage in defendants' premises because it was wet and slippery. As a result of the alleged negligence of the defendants, plaintiff claims she sustained multiple bodily injuries, disability, pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Accesso Partners LLC and Brookwood Plaza 100 LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to install appropriate handrails, failed to sufficiently illuminate the dangerous area, and failed to remedy the wet and slippery area of the premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages of more than $15,000, costs of suit, interest and other relief as the court may deem just. She is represented by Andrew Winston of Winston Law Firm in Davie.
