Sanford woman claims she was injured in state Road 431 accident

ORLANDO – A Sanford resident is seeking a trial by jury for injuries she alleges she sustained in an accident in Orange County.

Tierra Lott filed a complaint on May 15 in the 9th Judicial District Court of Florida - Orange County against Jean Maxi alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 25, 2016, she was traveling along state Road 431, when the defendant negligently operated her vehicle so as to collide with the vehicle maintained by plaintiff. As a result, plaintiff alleges she sustained bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss for enjoyment of life, medical expenses and aggravation of an existing condition. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendant for personal injury including losses, costs, interest and for other such relief as may be just. She is represented by Steven J. Tomesko of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
