Cyclist seeks damages after being struck by driver in Orlando

ORLANDO – A Cape Coral woman is suing for damages after she was struck by a motorist in Orlando.

Ellie Anne Corr filed a complaint on May 15 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida- Orange County against Anthony Lamont Jenkins alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 25, 2016, she was riding her bicycle near the intersection of Research Parkway and Alafaya Trail in Orange County when the defendant collided with her. She alleges she sustained bodily injury, great physical pain and suffering, inconvenience, scarring, loss of earnings, incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, damages of more than $15,000 plus costs and other relief she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Thomas D. Roebig, Nicholas S. Constantino, Shaun M. Cummings, Luca G. Esposito, Chase P. Florin and Chad K. Florin of Florin Roebig PA in Palm Harbor.
