Motorist allegedly injured in Largo crash files suit against driver, vehicle owner

CLEARWATER – A motorist has filed a suit against two individuals after a collision in Largo.

Gregory Avery filed a complaint on May 15 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Erica Masciantonio and Diane Castiglioni alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 7, 2016, he was traveling on Dryer Avenue near its intersection at Fuller Street in Largo when Masciantonio, operating a vehicle owned by Castiglioni, struck his vehicle.

The plaintiff alleges he suffered great physical pain and suffering, disability, diminution of earnings and medical related expenses. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, plus costs of the suit and all other relief to which he may be entitled. He is represented by Matthew S. Carney of Carey Leisure & Neal in Clearwater.
