FORT LAUDERDALE – A Florida couple alleges that a Dodge truck they purchased is defective.

Phyllis Watson and Stephen Watson filed a complaint on May 12 in the Broward Circuit Court against FCA US LLC alleging breach of written warranty and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on April 14, 2015, the plaintiffs purchased a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500. They allege that the vehicle has a defective engine, transmission or electrical system and defective body and/or trim. They allege that the vehicle was subjected to repair on at least three occasions but the defects remain uncorrected.

The plaintiffs hold FCA US LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately repair the defects on the vehicle.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant, award diminution of vehicle value and/or costs of repair, incidental and consequential damages, attorney's fees, witness fees, court costs, fees incurred, and other relief that the court deems just. They are represented by Nicholas Lacina of Krohn & Moss LTD in Chicago.
