Driver alleges injuries after collision with Brownies Septic and Plumbing truck

ORLANDO – An Osceola County resident claims he was injured in a collision in Orange County with the driver of a plumbing company's truck.

Jimmie R. Merritt Jr. filed a complaint on May 12 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Brownies Septic and Plumbing LLC and Bernard Catania alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 26, 2015, he was operating a motor vehicle on state Road 436 when Catania negligently operated the motor vehicle owned by his co-defendant so that it collided with plaintiff's motor vehicle. As a result, plaintiff alleges he suffered bodily injury including pain and suffering of both a physical and mental nature, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, aggravation of an existing condition, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendants and other such relief deemed proper by the court. He is represented by W. Doug Martin of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
