Woman alleges she was injured when driver changed lanes and struck her car

Car accident 24

CLEARWATER – A Redington Shores individual alleges she was injured in an auto accident with a St. Petersburg driver.

Christine Madsen filed a complaint on May 8 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Lorraine Harper alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 25, 2015, plaintiff was involved in a motor vehicle collision with the defendant's vehicle at 62nd Ave. North near the intersection of NE Madsen Circle North in St. Petersburg. The plaintiff claims the defendant attempted to change lanes to the left, striking the front side of her vehicle. As a result, Madsen claims she suffered bodily injuries, inconvenience and medical related expenses.

The plaintiff holds Harper responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay attention to the road while driving, failed to obey traffic laws and failed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of her.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment of more than $15,000 for general damages, together with costs, interests, and such other and further relief as the court may deem proper. She is represented by Daniel Hartpence of Clark Law in St. Petersburg.
