Pennsylvania man files suit against New York woman after collision in Orlando

ORLANDO – A Pennsylvania resident alleges he was injured in an accident with a New York woman in Orlando.

Andrew D. Heary filed a complaint on April 26 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Chaunise Johnson alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 15, 2013, he was the driver of a vehicle that was stopped in traffic in Orlando when a motor vehicle carelessly driven by the defendant failed to yield and collided with the rear of plaintiff's vehicle. As a result, plaintiff alleges he suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering both physical and mental in nature, disability, physical impairment, mental anguish, inconvenience, aggravation of a pre-existing condition and incurred medical expenses. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interests, costs, attorneys’ fees and other such relief deemed proper by the court. He is represented by David Zimmaro of Ronald J. Bua & Associates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
