CLEARWATER – A Pasco County resident alleges she was injured when her vehicle was rear-ended on Interstate 275.
Brenda Eads filed a complaint on April 26 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Zachyra Torres-Sotomayor alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 7, 2016, she was driving on I-275 near Fowler Avenue when the defendant suddenly rear-ended plaintiff's vehicle. As a result of defendant's alleged negligence, plaintiff claims she suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, loss or earnings and incurred expenses of medical care and treatment.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for money damages, costs and other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Kendrick J. Blackwell of Kendrick J. Blackwell PA in St. Petersburg.
