Driver files suit over alleged injuries from Tamarac auto accident

Car accident 42

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Broward County woman alleges that she was injured in an accident in Tamarac.

Christina Muir filed a complaint on April 15 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Broward County against James Buchanan and State Farm Insurance alleging James Buchanan and State Farm Insurance alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 18, 2016, she was driving along Northwest 91st Avenue in Tamarac when the vehicle owned by James Buchanan and operated by Sarah Buchanan collided into her motor vehicle. As a result, plaintiff alleges she sustained serious and severe injuries, endured great physical pain and mental anguish, and incurred medical bills and expenses.

The plaintiff holds James Buchanan and State Farm Insurance responsible because Sarah Buchanan allegedly negligently operated the vehicle and State Farm allegedly failed to pay all covered losses resulting from the accident.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000, costs of suit, attorney's fees, costs, interest, and other relief that the court may deem just. She is represented by Kaysia M. Earley of Earley Law Firm PLLC in Sunrise.
