CLEARWATER – A personal representative alleges a woman's fall in a grocery store contributed to her death.

Paula M. Norton, as personal representative of the estate of Alexandra A. Moxon, filed a complaint on April 13 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Publix Super Markets Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 10, 2016, Moxon was shopping at the defendant's Dunedin location and slipped on a slippery substance in the produce section. The plaintiff alleges the fall injured Moxon and resulted in her death.

The plaintiff holds Publix Super Markets Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the decedent of the dangerous condition on the premises and failed to maintain the floor.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendant. She is represented by Andrew Stinnette of Andrew Stinnette PA in Dunedin.
