Auto Club Insurance Co. of Florida accused of breaching contract with home damage claim

Contract 04

ORLANDO – An insurer is alleged to have breached its policy by failing to pay in full for damages to a home.

Alron Construction LLC filed a complaint on April 12 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Auto Club Insurance Co. of Florida alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 24, 2013, Alron Construction LLC’s assignor, Alan Goroski's home was damaged by wind, water and hail. The suit states he sought reimbursement for expenses from defendant for damage done to his dwelling, but defendant refused to fully compensate him for the covered loss.

The plaintiff holds Auto Club Insurance Co. of Florida responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to fulfill its obligations under the agreement and refused payment for all of plaintiff's covered losses.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for all covered losses with interest on any overdue payments, attorney's fees and costs. It is represented by Tyler J Chasez of Hale, Hale & Jacobson PA in Orlando.
