FORT LAUDERDALE – A consumer claims a bank failed to accept a loan modification agreement.
Lissette Bryant filed a complaint on March 30 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Bank of America NA alleging breach of contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2011, she fell behind on her mortgage payments with the defendants and entered into a loan modification agreement. She alleges in 2012, the defendant filed to foreclose on her property because it stopped accepting payments from her.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant plus interest and further relief the court deems just. She is represented by Barry S. Mittelberg of Barry S. Mittelberg PA in Coral Springs.
