Man alleged to have failed to pay promissory note

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Broward County man is alleged to have defaulted on a loan.

Cadles of West Virginia LLC filed a complaint on March 30 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Thomas C. Brewer alleging that the borrower breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the defendant was issued a promissory note in 2006 by plaintiff's predecessor in interest for $41,200. The suit alleges the defendant failed to make payments.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for damages in the amount of $53,010.04, plus interest, court costs, attorney's fees and other charges. It is represented by James J. Webb of Mitrani, Rynor, Adamsky & Toland PA in Weston.
