CLEARWATER – A passenger alleges she was injured in a collision at the intersection of Forest Lakes Road and Tampa Road in Oldsmar.
Ruth A. Lyons and Sheri Klemp Lyons (as power of attorney) filed a complaint on March 28 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Rose S. Colson and Daniel J. Afeld alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 3, 2013, Ruth A. Lyons was passenger of a motor vehicle that was involved in a collision with Afeld. As a result, Lyons claims she suffered physical injuries, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Colson and Afeld responsible because defendant Afeld allegedly carelessly operated his vehicle in a negligent and careless manner.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages of more than $15,000 and other relief to which the court deems proper. She is represented by Andrew Stinnette of Andrew Stinnette, PA in Dunedin.
