Muz Consulting Services, Tropical Solar Energy alleged to have not paid overtime

Law money 01

TAMPA – A floor supervisor alleges he was not paid overtime wages by his Pinellas County employers.

Arlando Howard filed a complaint on March 31 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida against Muz Consulting Services LLC, Tropical Solar Energy LLC and Christopher Mazzone citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was employed by Muz Consulting for Tropical Solar as a floor supervisor. The plaintiff holds Muz Consulting Services LLC, Tropical Solar Energy LLC and Mazzone responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain and keep accurate time records, failed to post required FLSA informational listings, and refused to pay plaintiff at a rate of time-and-one-half for overtime hours worked.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, payment of all overtime hours, liquidated damages, attorney's fees, costs, and further relief that the court deems just. He is represented by Matthew R. Gunter of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
