Stretch Windermere LLC instructor alleges she is owed unpaid overtime wages

Law money 08

ORLANDO – A stretching instructor alleges she was not compensated for overtime work.

Ashley Cook filed a complaint on March 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Orlando, Division against Stretch Windermere LLC, Stretchzone Inc. and Matt Seaberg citing the Fair Labor Standard Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she routinely worked overtime hours for the defendants. The plaintiff holds Stretch Windermere LLC, Stretchzone Inc. and Seaberg responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff for overtime compensation and failed to post informational posters as required by law advising its employees of their rights under FLSA.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, attorney's fees, costs, declaratory relief, and further relief that the court deems just. She is represented by Matthew R. Gunter of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
