MIAMI – A warehouseman claims he was not paid at the appropriate rate for overtime work by his former Dade County employer.

George Laurence Lazo, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a complaint on March 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against West Coast Trucking Corp. and Manuel Quintero alleging that they violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks double damages and reasonable attorney fees, court costs, interest and any other reasonable relief. He is represented by J.H. Zidell of J.H. Zidell PA in Miami Beach.
