Furniture installer alleges D&N Holdings did not pay overtime, minimum wage

Law money 13

MIAMI – A wooden closet manufacturer is facing a class action suit from a Palm Beach County man formerly employed as a furniture installer over allegations he is owed unpaid wages.

Aleksei Yevgenyevich Saraev filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on March 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against D & N Holdings Inc., doing business as The Closet Edition, and Daniel Badenhorst citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for the defendants from September 2016 to March 2017. The plaintiff holds D & N Holdings Inc., doing business as The Closet Edition, and Badenhorst responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay minimum wages to the plaintiff and failed to pay a rate of time-and-one-half of his regular rate of pay for overtime work.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, all wages still owing, liquidated damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Daniel T. Feld of Law Office of Daniel T. Feld PA in Hollywood.
