Man alleges he was injured in Palm Beach County collision with USPS employee

Car accident 13

WEST PALM BEACH – A Palm Beach County motorist alleges he was injured in an accident with a federal employee.

Levent Yurdatap filed a complaint on March 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against United States of America alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 24, 2015, he was injured as a result of the negligence of defendant's agent, Kym Marie Zupke, who was operating a United States Postal Service vehicle that collided with plaintiff's vehicle on 150th Court North in Palm Beach County.

The plaintiff holds United States of America responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly breached a duty of reasonable care with the negligent operation of the USPS vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against the defendant. He is represented by Jonathan T. Levy of Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Ryles in West Palm Beach.
