Builder Services Group Inc. alleged to have not paid a minimum wage

Law money 02

TAMPA – A former installer for a Pinellas County business alleges he was not paid a minimum wage during his employment.

Gary Wickliffe filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Feb. 27 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida against Builder Services Group Inc. and Robert Buck alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for the defendants as an installer from August 2016 to February 2017. The plaintiff holds Builder Services Group Inc. and Buck responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premium and failed to pay him for certain work by the piece.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all wages found owing, unpaid minimum wages, damages, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Peter L. Tragos of Tragos, Sartes & Tragos PLLC in Clearwater.
