ORLANDO – A Polk County individual alleges she was injured because of a dangerous condition at an Orlando apartment building.

Natrell Nicholson filed a complaint on Feb. 23 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Dominium Management Services LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 13, 2014, she slipped and fell down the stairs of defendant's building because of the dark and inadequately illuminated condition of the stairwell and hazardous objects or fixtures on the floor of the premises. She claims the incident caused her to sustain severe and permanent injuries, pain and suffering, incurred medical expenses, lost wages, and aggravation of a pre-existing condition.

The plaintiff holds Dominium Management Services LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn plaintiff about the existing dangers of the premises, failed its duty to maintain the premises where the accident occurred, and allowed a dangerous condition to exist without correcting the known hazards.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, general damages, and further relief to which plaintiff may be justly entitled. She is represented by Gordon Fenderson and Douglas Shanteau of Fenderson Law Firm LLC in Jacksonville.
