MIAMI – A New York resident alleges she was injured because of a ramp on a cruise ship.
Joanna Vesuvio filed a complaint on Jan. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division against
NCL (BAHAMAS) LTD, doing business as Norwegian Cruise Line,
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on August 20, 2016, she suffered injuries when she slipped and fell due to the hazardous condition of a ramp in an area of the ship's pool deck. The plaintiff holds NCL (BAHAMAS) LTD, doing business as Norwegian Cruise Line, responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the condition of the ramp.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $75,000 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Benjamin Salk of Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro in Woodbury, New York.
