G.C.L. Construction accused of overtime violation, retaliation

Law money 01

FORT LAUDERDALE — A former employee is suing employers G.C.L. Construction Inc., Guy Leboeuf Sr. and Susan Marker-Leboeuf, alleging retaliation and unpaid overtime.

Victor Robinson filed a complaint on Jan. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against the defendants alleging that they failed to pay fair wages to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly violating the law on overtime pay and firing him in retaliation after he complained about the pay practice.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks back and front pay, liquidated damages, interest, compensatory damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Peter Bober and Samara Bober of Bober & Bober, P.A. in Hollywood.
