Consumer files suit over alleged telemarketing calls from TT of Pine Ridge Inc.

WEST PALM BEACH – The owner and operator of Naples Nissan is accused of making unlawful telemarketing calls.

Tom Mahoney filed a complaint on behalf of a class on Jan. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Palm Beach Division against TT of Pine Ridge Inc. alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2016, he suffered damages from receiving several telemarketing calls on his cellular telephone. The plaintiff holds TT of Pine Ridge Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly kept on calling the plaintiff despite not being provided any consent for those calls.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks restrain the defendant, statutory damages of $500 for each violation, triple damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just.
