MIAMI – A Palm Beach County man alleges his former restaurant employer did not pay him overtime.
Lorenzo William Johnson Jr. filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Jan. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Bay Bays Chicken & Waffles LLC, Bay Bays Chicken and Waffles Number Two LLC and Israel G. Johnson
citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked an average of 68 to 71 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation.
