American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida accused of not paying for storm damage

Insurance 03

ORANGE — A homeowner's assignee is suing American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida, citing alleged breach of contract.

Alron Construction LLC a/a/o Daniel Gross filed a complaint on Dec. 27 in the Florida Ninth Judicial Circuit Court against American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida, alleging that the Florida business refuses to pay for all the damages done to Gross' home by wind, water and hail in March 2013.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff claims damages from being denied coverage for the storm effects. The plaintiff holds American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to pay for the structural damages to the home despite being covered by the policy.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for all covered losses plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. The plaintiff is represented by Tyler J. Chasez of Hale, Hale & Jacobson P.A in Orlando.
