Customer alleges door struck her at Carl Black of Orlando

ORLANDO – A woman alleges she was injured on the premises of an Orlando auto repair shop by a glass door.

Norma Hanchar filed a complaint on Dec. 22 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Carl Black of Orlando LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in March 30, 2013, she suffered injuries when a glass door closed and struck her head. The plaintiff holds Carl Black of Orlando LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of their premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages in an amount of more than $15,000 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Gary J. Boynton of Gary J. Boynton Esquire in Winter Park.
