MIAMI – A Doral company claims a New York business did not pay for perfumes it ordered.

Miami Perfume Junction Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against 786 Perfume Plus LLC and Rasheed Mian alleging breach of contract and fraud.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants purchased $133,882 worth of perfume in June 2016, which was delivered the same month. The plaintiff holds 786 Perfume Plus LLC and responsible because the defendants allegedly sent four checks to the plaintiff as payment but the checks were returned due to insufficient funds.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages, all legal fees plus interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Steven I. Peretz and Josh E. Saltz of Peretz Chesal & Herrmann PL in Miami.
