Florida firm welcomes attorney and author Andrew Wellman

TAMPA—Attorney Andrew Wellman recently joined The Florida Law Group in Tampa.

Wellman graduated from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he participated in the Intellectual Property Summer Institute. He also received an undergraduate degree in Criminology with a minor in technical writing from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee.

Wellman previously was an independent contractor with broadcast media company Global Edge Media Corporation. He worked as a media and communication services consultant, writing content for law firm websites, including the creation of articles and webpages on various topics directed at potential clients, according to his LinkedIn page.

According to the Florida Law Group's website bio, Wellman also was a research assistant at Stetson University College of Law, where he created summaries of pending federal antitrust actions; and was a pro bono researcher for the National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology and the Law, where he prepared briefs on digital evidence and expert witnesses for an online legal database.

“Experienced and committed, Mr. Wellman is passionate about protecting the rights of victims of serious accidents caused by negligent individuals,” the Florida Law Group said in its press release. “Wellman diligently examines every aspect of his cases in order to obtain the highest settlement possible on behalf of his clients.”

Wellman is a member of the Florida Bar, and has a LexisNexis Professional Research certification and is also WestlawNext certified.

In addition to his diverse legal career, Wellman is also the author of Alice and S.F.W., books that were both made into movies.

The attorneys at The Florida Law Group have represented victims of car, truck and motorcycle accidents; medical malpractice; nursing home negligence; wrongful death; and defective products since 1982.
