WMD Guns alleges Rock River Arms is unlawfully using Beast trademark

MIAMI – A Stuart company that markets and sells firearms alleges another company is using its mark to sell firearms as well.

WMD Guns LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Rock River Arms Inc. alleging trademark infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that owns the Beast trademark, which was registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2015. The plaintiff holds Rock River Arms Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly manufactured and distributed firearms that bear the Beast mark.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendant from further infringing plaintiff's mark, actual damages and profits, order the defendant to destroy all infringing materials, all legal fees plus interest and any other relief as this court deems just.
