Law money 06

MIAMI – A Palm Beach County man alleges his former Weston employer owes him unpaid wages.

Rhonny Tufino filed a complaint on Dec. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Showpitch LLC and Jean Pierre Fatta citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime compensation between November 2015 and March 2016. The plaintiff holds Showpitch LLC and Fatta responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premium for working more than 40 hours per week, purportedly failed to pay him two unpaid checks and also $200 that was allegedly shorted from the plaintiff's paychecks.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all unpaid wages, all legal fees plus interest and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Keith M. Stern and Hazel Solis Rojas of Law Offices of Keith M. Stern PA in Miami.
