Man seeks allegedly unpaid overtime wages from Campany Roof Maintenance

Law money 04

WEST PALM BEACH – A West Palm Beach roofing company is alleged to have not paid an employee overtime compensation.

Rahshard J. Stepherson filed a complaint on behalf of other similarly situated individuals on Dec. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, West Palm Beach Division against Campany Roof Maintenance LLC, Edward Campany and Justin Campany citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked from August to October 2016 for the defendants for more than 40 hours a week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Campany Roof Maintenance LLC, Edward Campany and Justin Campany responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premiums at a rate of time-and-one-half for working more than 40 hours per week and for firing him for discriminatory reasons.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Zandro E. Palma of Zandro E. Palma PA in Miami.
