JACKSONVILLE — A woman is suing United of Omaha Life Insurance Company, alleging breach of contract.

Deborah Tripoli filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against United of Omaha Life Insurance Company, alleging that the insurance firm improperly denied her claim for disability benefits.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2013, she became disabled and was initially being paid disability benefits until they were terminated. The plaintiff holds United of Omaha Life Insurance Company responsible because the defendant allegedly terminated her disability benefits despite her disability according to the terms of the policy.

The plaintiff seeks disability benefits, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Nancy L. Cavey of Law Offices of Nancy L. Cavey in St. Petersburg.
