Former employee claims EBS Security violated wage laws

JACKSONVILLE — A man has filed a class-action lawsuit against EBS Security, his former employer, alleging violation of wage laws.

Nathaniel Lockley filed a complaint on Dec. 5, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against EBS Security, alleging that the employer failed to pay fair wages to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation, and that he was paid no wages whatever for about 100 hours of labor. The plaintiff holds EBS Security responsible for allegedly violating the law regarding overtime pay and minimum wage.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid wages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by W. John Gadd of W. John Gadd in Clearwater.
