Woman alleges driver's negligence caused Auburndale crash

TAMPA – A Winter Haven resident claims she was injured in an accident in Auburndale.

Kinsey Freeman filed a complaint on Nov. 25 in the Tampa Division for the Middle District of Florida against the C & C Transfer Inc. and Jose Alcala Jr. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 13, 2015, Kinsey Freeman was driving along County Road 655, when the vehicle owned by C & C and driven by Alcala Jr. suddenly crashed into plaintiff's vehicle. As a result, she alleges she suffered bodily injury, disability, mental anguish, medical expenses, loss of earnings and aggravation of a previously existing condition.

The plaintiff holds C & C Transfer Inc. and Jose Alcala Jr. responsible because Alcala's alleged negligence caused the collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages against defendants in an amount of more than $75,000, plus costs of action and other relief deemed just. She is represented by John Casella of Law Offices of John Casella PLLC in Nokomis and Kurt J. Bomar of Kurt Bomar PA in Sarasota.
