Cruise 10

JACKSONVILLE — A Florida woman is suing a Flagler County doctor, alleging unpaid overtime wages.

Samantha Sult filed a lawsuit Nov. 22 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Jacksonville Division against Dr. John G. Symeonides, alleging violation of the Fair Labor and Standards Act.

According to the complaint, Sult worked the past three years for more than 40 hours a week without being paid any overtime compensation by the defendant. The plaintiff alleges Symeonides failed to pay any overtime premium of time and a half for working more than 40 hours per week as required by FLSA.

Sult seeks trial by jury, unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and all other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorney Matthew R. Gunter of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
