Broward County man accuses debt collector of unauthorized contact with a third party regarding his debt

FLORIDA — A Broward County consumer is suing NPAS Solutions, LLC, a debt collector, citing alleged misrepresentation in debt collection.

Raymond A. Berg filed a complaint on Nov. 17, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against NPAS Solutions, LLC alleging that the debt collector contacted a third party regarding plaintiff's debt in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages. The plaintiff holds NPAS Solutions, LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly contacted and left several voice mail messages regarding plaintiff's debt at the residence of his mother.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant, payment of all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Donald A. Yarbrough of Donald A. Yarbrough, Esquire, in Ft. Lauderdale.
