Former employees allege Forever Propane Sales & Service did not pay overtime

MIAMI – A Broward County employer is accused of not paying three former employees overtime wages.

Javier Flores, Michael A. Sanchez and Patrice Rembert filed a complaint on Nov. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Forever Propane Sales & Service Inc. and Manuel C. Rosado alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiffs holds Forever Propane Sales & Service Inc. and Rosado responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiffs any overtime premiums at a rate of time-and-one-half for hours worked that exceeded 40 hours per workweek.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek all overtime wages due to them, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Roderick V. Hannah in Plantation.
