ORLANDO – An Orange County woman alleges she was discriminated against during her employment.

Bernadette Cannonier filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Orlando Division against International Cruise & Excursions Inc. alleging hostile work environment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was subjected to intentional discrimination while working for the defendant from August 2014 to December 2015. She alleges the acts were extreme and outrageous, and/or sexual in nature.

The plaintiff holds International Cruise & Excursions Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to protect its employees against discrimination and harassment, and caused plaintiff to retain and pay for counsel.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, attorneys' fees, costs and further relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Andrew C. Hill of NeJame Law PA in Orlando.
