MIAMI — A Miami-Dade County man is suing a food services business, alleging failure to pay overtime.
Adrean Martinez filed a lawsuit Nov. 10 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against Ovations Food Services LP, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, Martinez worked for more than 40 hours per week at the defendant's Brava restaurant in Miami without being paid any overtime compensation.
