Law money 04

ORLANDO — Two people are suing former employers Jamal Turk and HKM3 LLC, alleging violation of wage laws.

MD M. Ahmed and Sajada Begum filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Orlando Division against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay fair compensation to the plaintiffs.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid minimum wage or overtime compensation. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid overtime and minimum wage, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by N. Ryan Labar and Scott C. Adams of Labar & Adams, ESQ in Orlando.
