MIAMI — A man is suing former employers Liberty Specialty Service LLC and Alex Sorsher, alleging violation of wage laws.

Raul Alvarez filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against the defendants, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Liberty Specialty Service LLC, and Sorsher responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay an overtime premium.

The plaintiff seeks double damages, all legal fees, all wages still owing, interest and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Ricardo R. Corona and Allyson Morgado of Corona Law Firm, P.A. in Miami.
