R+L Truckload Services accused of not paying overtime to employees

FORT MYERS — Employees have filed a class-action lawsuit against R+L Freight Services LLC, An Ohio Corporation, d/b/a R+L Truckload Services, alleging violation of wage laws.

Lynn Herrera and Margaret Raber filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against the defendant, alleging that the employer failed to compensate them fairly.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime compensation. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. They are represented by C. Ryan Morgan of Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Orlando.
