TAMPA -- The Florida Mesothelioma Victims Center recently announced there is a statewide initiative available to a person diagnosed with mesothelioma anywhere in Florida. The center is trying to help those with this illness find reputable attorneys that can help them gain compensation.

The Florida Mesothelioma Victims Center advocates for diagnosed victims in Florida and claims it is the only group offering victims or their family members instant access to the nation’s best mesothelioma compensation attorneys.

“Because of variables like multiple exposures, it is vital to have the very best mesothelioma attorneys in your corner,” the center said on their website. “Before you hire a law firm to help with your mesothelioma compensation, we would like you to call us … to compare their references to any other law firm in the nation. When it comes to obtaining the best possible mesothelioma compensation, the quality of the law firm matters.”

The center said on its website that depending upon what stage the mesothelioma is discovered, there is a wide range of treatment options.

“The Mesothelioma Victims Center is a huge believer in second opinions, and at least having one of the nation’s top mesothelioma medical specialists review the victim’s medical records for improved treatment possibilities,” the center said in a July 2016 press release.

The Florida Mesothelioma Victims Center explained that its initiative offers the best treatment and representation possible for each individual or family who has suffered from mesothelioma or has lost a loved one to it.

"If a diagnosed person in Florida or their family members call us … we will come through on our commitment to make certain they really are talking directly to the nation's very best mesothelioma attorneys,” the center said on its website. “We will also do everything possible to assist with defining the best possible mesothelioma treatment centers in Florida."

The Florida Mesothelioma Victims Center said on its website that in all likelihood, most people with mesothelioma in Florida were probably initially exposed to asbestos at a workplace located in the Northeast or Midwest, and or while serving in the U.S. Navy. It is for this reason the center makes it a priority that a diagnosed person in Florida speaks directly to one of the nation's leading legal authorities on mesothelioma compensation who at the same time is also full-time mesothelioma compensation attorney.

According to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, high-risk work groups for exposure to asbestos now living in Florida include U.S. Navy veterans, power plant workers, shipyard workers, oil refinery workers, steel mill workers, miners, manufacturing workers, plumbers, electricians, auto mechanics, machinists or construction workers. Typically, the exposure to asbestos occurred between the 1950s and 1980s.

According to nationally recognized asbestos litigators Kazan Law, the best attorney to represent someone in an asbestos lawsuit might not be located in the same city.

“Asbestos lawsuits differ from other personal injury cases in important ways,” Kazan Law Firm said in its promotional materials. “Special rules govern asbestos litigation and compensation from asbestos trust funds. A good attorney will conduct a careful investigation to uncover all possible places where you may have been exposed to asbestos, often decades in the past.”
