Parametric Solutions accused of violating law regarding FMLA leave

WEST PALM BEACH — A former employee is suing Parametric Solutions Inc., an employer, alleging violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act and retaliation including unlawful termination.

Roy Koch filed a complaint on Oct. 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Parametric Solutions, Inc. alleging that the employer retaliated against him for exercising his rights to FMLA.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2016, he was terminated from his employment when he requested for a leave for surgery and recovery. The plaintiff holds Parametric Solutions Inc. responsible for the alleged violation of FMLA law.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeksback wages and benefits, front pay, compensatory damages, punitive damages and interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by Amanda Ellen B. Clay of Spielberger Law Group in Tampa.
