Government seeks repayment of student loans from Miami woman

MIAMI – A Miami woman is alleged to have defaulted on the payment of student loans.

United States of America filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Gloria Estrada alleging that the individual failed to settle her debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Estrada failed to pay the principal amount of her debt with plaintiff plus interest from two promissory notes from 1988.

The plaintiff seeks $12,597.79 and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jennifer Margolis Marquez of Newman & Marquez PA in Coral Gables.
