Enshirah allegedly sold counterfeit water pipes

Trademark 05

MIAMI — A California corporation has filed suit against a retailer for allegedly selling counterfeit copies of water pipes manufactured in Germany.

Sream Inc. filed a complaint Sept. 20 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Enshirah Inc., alleging that the Florida business sold counterfeit copies of RooR water pipes of which Sream Inc. is the U.S. distributor.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Sream Inc. suffered damages to its business as the result of lower quality products being sold in the market that bear its trademark. The plaintiff holds Enshirah Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly sold water pipes bearing the plaintiff's trademark, which caused confusion among consumers.

The plaintiff seeks damages, injunctive relief, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jamie Alan Sasson of The Ticktin Law Group PLLC in Deerfield Beach.
