Celebrity Farms accused of not paying minimum wage

MIAMI – A man alleges he was not paid a minimum wage during his employment.

Siki Varlikes filed a complaint on Sept. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Celebrity Farms LLC and Sam Stathis alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and conversion.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was not paid a minimum wage while working for the defendants. He also alleges that the defendant is currently in possession of a laptop he owns.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for all damages and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Christopher J. Whitelock and David S. Frank of Whitelock & Associates PA in Fort Lauderdale.
