Couple claims husband was injured after accident with USPS employee

ORLANDO – A New Smyrna Beach couple has filed suit against the federal government and a United States Postal Service employee after the employee allegedly struck the husband.

Jeffrey Brisebois and Amanda Brisebois filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against United States of America and Bryan E. Turner alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in Oct. 28, 2013, Jeffrey Brisebois suffered damages and physical injuries when he operating a bicycle on U.S. Highway 1 in Edgewater and was struck by Turner.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Michael K. Bailey of Bailey Fisher PLLC in Winter Park.
